UH Flat The Sokcho is a residence hotel — Sokcho Jungang Market is just a 5-minute walk away, and you can also walk to the Gaetbae ferry pier heading to Abai Village and to the intercity bus terminal, with Dongmyeong Port and Sokcho Port both nearby. There are several room types available. C Type and E Type are the ocean-view rooms. The difference between them is room size — E Type is a studio, while C Type is a Flat Suite that's a bit bigger. The bedroom and living room are separated. Lower floors 2F~7F, middle floors 8F~20F, high floors 21F~24F. You need to look carefully when booking too. If you book a middle floor and get a low one, the cruise terminal and the overpass in front will block the view, so if you want a high floor, make sure to also send an email requesting it! I booked a middle-floor C-type room, and they gave me the 18th floor, so I got to see the sunrise properly. There's a queen bed in the bedroom, and inside the built-in closet there's a thick mattress and a bedding set. When I laid it out in the living room, it was nice and thick.

In the living room, there's a sofa and table, plus a separate dining table, and the kitchen is equipped with a microwave and induction cooktop, so simple cooking is possible too,

They said that when you request cooking utensils, they bring a pot, a trivet, disposable dish sponges, and even detergent all packed in the camping box.

I stayed in an ocean-view C Type Suite room, and I got to see a beautiful sunrise from the terrace and from the bed in the room.
