[15-Day Northern Europe Self-Guided Tour] Day 1: Copenhagen Bicycle One-Day Tour, visiting the Little Mermaid, Amalienborg Palace, and Christiansborg Palace

Itinerary Overview At 8:30 PM on March 8th, we arrived safely at Copenhagen Airport. Upon landing, we immediately used the free airport Wi-Fi to activate the eSIM for this journey. The airport wasn't crowded at this time, immigration was quick, and we didn't have to wait long for our luggage, so we easily embarked on our first stop in Northern Europe.

次日，我們在哥本哈根租了一台腳踏車，徹底體驗這座「腳踏車之城」的獨特氛圍！從經典的美人魚雕像，到壯觀的阿瑪琳堡宮衛兵交接，最後再到克莉絲蒂安堡宮探索歷史，這趟旅程充滿了丹麥文化與建築之美。晚上，我們則在當地酒吧，與丹麥人一起感受北歐夜晚的輕鬆氛圍。 二、行程準備 1. 機場>市區: 從機場到市區最方便的方式是 搭乘火車，車程僅 13 分鐘，票價 36 DKK。在第三航廈找到DSB的購票機，搭乘方向是第二月台，順帶一提，它的月台晚上看起來很像是藝廊。

2. Accommodation We chose Annex Copenhagen, a self-service hostel located near the train station. We opted for a single room (with a shared bathroom) for 5500 TWD for two nights. But after seeing the suite (6400 TWD for 2 nights) where my aunt and her group stayed, which is much more spacious, I suddenly regret not comparing the options more carefully.

3. Copenhagen One-Day Itinerary 1. The Little Mermaid Statue: Copenhagen Landmark Copenhagen's most famous landmark, The Little Mermaid statue, is a classic character from the works of Danish author Hans Christian Andersen. However, I found that the backlight is quite strong in the morning; I recommend coming in the afternoon for better photos!

📍 The Little Mermaid Statue Recommended stay: 15–30 minutes Photography tip: Afternoon or twilight light is best 2. Kastellet: Star Fortress Right next to the Little Mermaid statue is Kastellet, a star-shaped military fortress. The top of the fortress features a green park where many locals enjoy jogging or walking, offering a very relaxing atmosphere.

📍 卡斯特雷特堡壘 建議停留時間：45～60 分鐘 特色：俯瞰星形堡壘、欣賞歷史建築 3. 阿瑪琳堡宮：盛大的衛兵交接 來到 阿瑪琳堡宮（Amalienborg Palace），我們欣賞每天中午的衛兵交接儀式。本來以為只是簡單的儀式，沒想到竟然還有樂隊演奏，場面相當盛大，推薦大家一定要來看看！

📍 Amalienborg Palace Changing of the Guard time: Every day at 12:00 PM Highlights: Royal palace, watch the changing of the guard up close To the north of Amalienborg Palace is Frederik's Church, commonly known as the Marble Church.

4. Lunch: A Traditional Copenhagen Food Experience We found a famous local restaurant online and enjoyed traditional Danish cuisine, such as open-faced sandwiches (Smørrebrød) and pickled herring. Although this meal wasn't cheap, costing nearly 2000 TWD per person, the flavors were very unique and definitely worth a try!

Christiansborg Palace: Former Royal Palace In the afternoon, we visited Christiansborg Palace. It used to be the palace of the Danish royal family, but now it mainly serves as government offices. Overall, the architecture is magnificent, but after visiting the palaces in Austria, the scale here is relatively smaller, and the entrance fee is quite expensive.

[Deep Dive] Christiansborg Palace | The heart of the Danish Royal Family and political power | A must-visit attraction for Copenhagen travel. The tower of Christiansborg Palace offers free access; it is well worth the queue to enjoy the panoramic view of Copenhagen.

📍 Christiansborg Palace Tower Ticket Price: Free Recommended Stay: 15–20 minutes Opening Hours: Tuesday to Sunday, 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM. 6. Afternoon: Re-shooting The Little Mermaid & Harbor Promenade Since the backlight was too strong for The Little Mermaid in the morning, we made a special trip back in the evening. The light was just perfect this time, making the photos even more beautiful! Afterward, we strolled along the harbor promenade to enjoy Copenhagen's waterfront scenery. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes here, making it a wonderful place to relax.

7. 在地酒吧體驗 晚上我們找了一家當地的酒吧，感受哥本哈根的夜生活。酒吧裡充滿了歡樂的氣氛，大家隨著音樂唱歌、聊天，這樣的夜晚讓人覺得相當放鬆，也為這一天的旅程畫下完美句點！
