(Trip 2) Sokcho Kim Young-ae Sundubu Main Branch

A place I always make a point to visit when in Sokcho. About 30 years as a regular at this sundubu (soft tofu) restaurant on Haksapyeong Road, on the way from downtown toward Misiryeong, facing Heundeulbawi Rock of Seoraksan

Visited in the morning after a long time. It used to have floor seating which was a bit uncomfortable, but now you take off your shoes and sit at regular tables comfortably

The plain soft tofu and bean curd stew were delicious, and the side dishes were just as tasty and varied as before
