This is the early dawn market I always visit whenever I travel to Hoi An. It's relaxed, with lively merchants~ and you can also catch an amazingly beautiful sunrise. After taking sunrise photos, I turned around and was looking around the market. There was a merchant, nicely made up and wearing a conical hat, calling out for me to come over and take a photo... I was suspicious, but my friend said it sounded fun, so we went to take the photo... That merchant sat me down next to my friend, linked our arms, and told us to take a photo. Then when I tried to get up... he demanded money, haha! I knew it!!!! By nature I just can't let stuff like that slide, so I spoke to him nicely, but he wouldn't let go of my arm, haha. My friend, who knows what I'm like, got anxious that something bad was about to happen... and tried to stop me... I took out 20,000 dong and gave it to them, but they demanded 500,000 dong.. haha Only when I got angry did they finally let go of my arm.. If a vendor ever approaches you first, shake them off without hesitation. Those people are only after your money. There should be nothing that ruins your mood while traveling.
