🇻🇳 4-district review ✈️ Trip Day 5 - Yeonghung Temple ✈️

2024.12.02~06 🩷 The first stop on the last day of the trip, which we visited by rental car, was Linh Ung Pagoda! There's a Lady Buddha statue so tall you can even see it from My Khe Beach, so it's definitely a must-visit spot when traveling to Da Nang. As we walked past the Lady Buddha statue, there were monkeys that were cute but a bit scary to get close to, so we ended up staring at them for quite a while, haha. Now that we'd seen the monkeys, it was time to gather in front of the Lady Buddha statue for a photo session!

Before more people showed up, we quickly took some photos and went inside the Haesu Gwaneum (Sea Goddess of Mercy) statue~ Mom is the only one in the family who always prays whenever she visits a temple, so we tagged along and went in with her. Since Mom always worries about her children first, I was curious what she prayed for, so I asked her. She said that out of all her children, she only has one son, so she prayed for her son to do well, haha. My brothers-in-law have gotten used to it now 😅 My mother-in-law is so funny — even when she's with the daughters, whenever a son shows up, she says "the real one" has arrived! Thanks to that, the daughter-in-law gets showered with love too 🥰
