🇦🇺(Trip 7) Melbourne Central

It's a large shopping mall in a five-story building, directly connected to the subway station and close to the tram stop too, so it's a place with really great accessibility. When you go in on the first floor, there's a round clock you can see in the center. On the hour, a parakeet doll comes out and sings and dances — it was so fascinating!!

I got so happy seeing a Gong Cha store~♡ Business hours: 10:00~19:00 Since Australia really values work-life balance, quite a lot of stores open early and close early~

There are many different types of shops on every floor, so it's a great place to look around even if you're not shopping~ There are also people who freely play the piano.

You can also see the Coop's Shot Tower from here. They say it kept the original factory tower where bullets used to be made, and just added a glass roof on top. The tip of the glass roof comes to a point — it's shaped like a bullet! It's so fascinating that I just kept looking up at it, haha.

It also has a movie theater, just like Yongsan I'Park Mall or Lotte Mall at Gimpo Airport... According to reviews, the theater is pretty big and comfortable, and the popcorn is supposed to be tasty too... haha But I passed because I get nervous about English... lol If there had been a Korean movie playing, I would have wanted to give it a try 😂

There was an ice cream specialty shop like Baskin Robbins 31, so I bought some~ Successfully challenged myself with my broken English~!! lol I wanted to try several flavors you can't get in Korea, so I got 3 scoops~♡ I don't remember what flavors I ordered though... It was less sweet than Baskin Robbins, so I liked it~~ haha

This is a supermarket commonly seen in Australia. I stopped by the basement floor to do some grocery shopping. Beef, apples, strawberries, cherry tomatoes, blackberries ♡

After I got back to the accommodation, I felt a little peckish for an early dinner... so I finished off with fruit I'd bought from the mart~♡ I ate the apple the next morning, and it was seriously delicious 👍 Melbourne Central is a shopping mall right in the heart of downtown, and it was a great place to spend some time~~ Since it's located right in the center, I ended up passing by it several times later while going here and there... haha
