This day marked the end of our 3-night stay in Phu Long, and it was time to check out. After having a simple breakfast in the morning, we picked up the laundry we had dropped off the day before at the lobby, then went up to our room. I spent a little time resting and packing up our things, while my husband went for one last swim...

I went down to the lobby to check out in time for my second rental car reservation, and happened to run into the female manager, and while chatting with her, I asked if I could get two room keys at check-in — she said she'd positively consider reflecting that.

Right before the shuttle arrival call, the rental car showed up. And wait — the rental car driver turned out to be the same person from yesterday, so we greeted each other warmly. When I told him today's schedule would run late, he just smiled and said OK.
