While looking around the Chang Mai Night Market, I came across a massage shop and got a foot massage. It was a great chance to soothe my feet, which were tired from all the walking during the trip. After enjoying some food shopping at the night market, finishing off the day with a massage like this really rounds things out nicely, don't you think? ^^

The price was also affordable, so I could use it without any burden. The most basic 30-minute foot massage was 120K, but I negotiated it down to 90K. Since there were 2 of us, we might have gotten a bit more of a discount.

Before receiving the massage, I soaked my feet in warm water to relieve fatigue, and then the real massage began. With just the right amount of acupressure loosening everything from my feet up to my calves so refreshingly, I looked forward to that feeling of all the fatigue built up during the trip melting away in an instant.

However, the massage therapist looked very inexperienced. I suspect they might be a trainee still learning. Their technique was a bit clumsy, which left me a little disappointed..... If you want to relieve fatigue after visiting night markets in Da Nang, a foot massage seems like a good option too. But! Rather than younger therapists, I'd recommend requesting more experienced ones... Or, you could also go to massage shops that have discounts through Da Nang local partnerships!!
