Must-See Highlights Royal Reception Rooms This is one of the most important exhibition areas in Christiansborg Palace, and it is also the place where state banquets are held and foreign dignitaries are received. On the walls of the Great Hall hang 18 modern historical tapestries created by renowned Danish artists, depicting the history of Denmark from the Viking Age to modern times, with vivid colors and rich detail. The crystal chandeliers, gold leaf decorations, and luxurious ceiling showcase the understated luxury of the Nordic royal family.

Throne Room This is the place where the Queen receives foreign heads of state and holds state banquets. It is decorated in a magnificent and solemn style, with a resplendent golden throne chair placed at the center.

Royal Stables The stables are home to purebred Libyan white horses, which are still used by the royal family for official occasions today. Special Exhibition: The Witch Trials This special exhibition focuses on three women accused of witchcraft during the reign of Christian IV: Maren Splids, Christenze Kruckow, and Maren Ringsbjerg. Through sound effects, lighting, and dramatic exhibition design, their stories are recreated, allowing visitors to feel the fear and injustice of being accused of witchcraft at the time. The exhibition runs from September 27, 2024 to April 27, 2025, and is located in the underground ruins area of Christiansborg Palace.
