Review of visiting the Son Tra Night Market in Da Nang During my trip to Da Nang, I went to the Son Tra Night Market! Located near the Han River, this place isn't very large, but it was somewhere you could really feel the local atmosphere. There were rows of various street food stalls and cheap souvenir shops, so it was quite fun to walk around and look at everything. All sorts of snacks, seafood skewers, There was even fresh fruit juice, and it was full of delicious food to enjoy. For souvenirs, they sell pretty Vietnamese handicrafts and cute little accessories unique to Vietnam. In particular, I had durian and nước mía (sugarcane juice) right at the entrance, and they were cheap yet tasty, so I was really satisfied. Since it was near closing time, it wasn't too crowded, so I could look around at a leisurely pace, and the lively atmosphere unique to a night market... I really enjoyed it. Since it was the weekend and this is a spot that draws locals as well as tourists after the Dragon Bridge fire show, it felt even more local in vibe. If you want to spend a different kind of night in Da Nang, be sure to stop by the Son Tra Night Market too! It's great to visit together with the Dragon Bridge fire show.
