(Travel) Sokcho, a house that makes tofu by hand

One of the places we visited during our early-March trip to Sokcho was Choi Ok-ran Grandma's Sundubu House, a shop that makes its own 100% domestic tofu!

5 servings of Ok-ran set meal for just 50,000 won! I skipped it since it was morning. The portion size is really generous, haha.

There were also a lot of celebrity autographs hanging on the walls~ Since it's a restaurant that a lot of celebrities have visited, I was really looking forward to it!!

I ordered the mild sundubu (soft tofu stew) and the spicy sundubu~~ The mild sundubu has a basic flavor with no seasoning added~ The spicy sundubu, unfortunately, wasn't quite as good as I expected... It was so salty that I ended up adding water to it, sadly...ㅠㅠ

I visited around 8:30 on Saturday morning, so we got in without waiting... but a little while later, almost every seat was taken... It was also the Independence Movement Day holiday, so apparently a lot of tourists came~ Off to one side there was even a spot selling dried seafood~ It felt a bit salty and the prices were on the pricier side, so I think I'll probably pass on it next time... Personally, it was a little disappointing for our taste, haha
