Massage in Da Nang when you sit at a laptop all day: what the menu means and what it costs

Three months of remote work does something to your neck. Da Nang’s answer is on almost every street, and at prices that make it a weekly habit rather than a treat — but the menus are long, the durations vary, and two spas can list the same name for very different sessions.

The desk-worker services

If you only book one thing, book neck and shoulders. Chua Spa on Núi Thành lists a neck-and-shoulder massage at 350,000₫, the same as its signature and aroma sessions; Thai without oil is 380,000₫. Mai Spa on Đình Nghệ lists Neck & Shoulder Therapy and Lower Back Therapy both at 400,000₫, with a body massage also at 400,000₫ and Thai at 450,000₫.

Organic Plus Spa in An Thượng splits the same area into four, which is useful if you know what you want: head and neck with light oil 350,000₫, back and neck Asian-style or with hot stones 430,000₫, back and neck with bamboo or herbs 630,000₫, and shiatsu back and neck without oil 720,000₫.

At the higher end, Herbal Spa on Đình Nghệ and its Phan Tứ branch list a shoulder-and-neck session at 600,000₫, a foot recovery at 630,000₫, a dry full-body at 680,000₫, and traditional cupping at 970,000₫.

Feet, and the cheapest way in

Foot massage is where most people start, and the spread is wide: 180,000₫ at Chua Spa, 200,000₫ at Mai Spa, 250,000₫ at Heart Spa on Lâm Hoành, 350,000₫ at Louis Spa on Loseby and B Spa Bamboo on Lê Quang Đạo.

Full body sits in a tighter band: Heart Spa lists a traditional massage at 450,000₫, Louis a full body at 400,000₫ and Thai at 500,000₫, B Spa Bamboo a dry massage at 450,000₫, aroma at 380,000₫ and hot stone at 420,000₫.

Late is the long-stayer’s advantage

Working European or US hours means finishing when the tourist crowd has gone. May Healing Spa in An Thượng lists closing at 4am. Heart Spa and Louis Spa run to 2am, Happy Calla on Phan Liêm to 1:30am, B Spa Bamboo to 1am, and Mai Spa to midnight.

The small things that add up

Hair washing with scalp work is on most menus and costs less than you’d think: 149,000₫ at Chua Spa, 150,000₫ at Louis, 250,000₫ at Heart Spa and at Organic Plus with a blow dry. Louis also lists a heel scrub at 120,000₫. Combos bundle several of these — Louis lists one at 550,000₫, Chua Spa a VIP combo at 480,000₫ — which is usually cheaper than booking the parts separately, if the parts are what you wanted.

Check these before you book

Two spas listing 400,000₫ may be selling you 60 minutes and 90 minutes. Read the duration on the listing, not just the name. 💵 Whether the listed price is everything — confirm whether tipping is expected on top and whether it’s included in any package, before the session, not after. 📦 What a combo actually contains — ask for the component list and the total time. 🕙 Book ahead for late slots — the spas open past midnight are the ones that fill up. 🙋 Say what you want worked on — if it’s eight hours of sitting, say neck, shoulders and lower back rather than taking the default full-body.
