Complete ban on using portable power banks in-flight The five airlines under the Hanjin Group announced that starting from January 26, the use of portable power banks will be completely banned during flights. Starting from January 25, Jeju Air will also ban their use, and Eastar Jet has banned it since last year. Accordingly, of Korean Air, Asiana Airlines, Jin Air, Air Busan, Air Seoul, Jeju Air, and Eastar Jet's On both domestic and international flights, using a portable power bank to charge electronic devices such as phones, tablets, laptops, and cameras will be completely prohibited. Please cover the charging ports with insulating tape and store the power bank separately in a zip bag. I heard that many overseas airlines have already been enforcing this for a while.. For everyone's safety, I guess we'll just have to put up with a little inconvenience~ You'll need to fully charge before boarding, or charge it using the charging port installed on the plane~
