Shilla Monogram Danang Facility 1 — Therapy Garden & Sauna ♨️
The Therapy Garden at Shilla Monogram Da Nang is an outdoor spa space designed to let you fully rest and recharge amid nature. This resort features four distinct jacuzzi pools, each with its own theme and temperature, so you can relax and unwind however suits your mood. Surrounded by palm trees and stone walls that block out outside noise, it creates a cozy, peaceful atmosphere as if you were deep in a forest. It's a wellness space focused not just on soaking in water, but on emotional stability and energy recovery, so it's great to enjoy in combination with the nearby outdoor pool and sauna.
The sauna is located on B1 of the hotel (take the elevator in front of the GYM), and it's open from 7 AM to 10 PM. It's free for hotel guests to use, and guests must be at least 13 years old to enter. It features a cold pool, hot pool, and dry sauna, so it's great for refreshing yourself from head to toe, and basic amenities like shampoo and body wash are provided, making it convenient to stop by right after using the pool. It's not very large, but it's well maintained, so you can enjoy it in a quiet and pleasant atmosphere.
When entering the sauna, tell the reception staff your room number, and after they verify your guest information, they'll give you a locker key at random. Please leave your personal belongings in your room as much as possible. Basic amenities are provided, but you'll need to bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste, and conditioner.
The men-only sauna my friend used during our Da Nang trip last March had the exact same layout and interior as the women-only sauna I visited. Like a traditional Korean public bathhouse, it has separate hot and cold pools, and you need to undress to use it. The water temperature was just right, so going back and forth between the hot and cold pools felt really refreshing. The dry sauna is small in size, but since there aren't many visitors, it has just the right quiet atmosphere for sweating it out in peace.
The interior is modern and neatly arranged, and the shower booths are divided into several sections, so it's comfortable to use. There's also a restroom inside and towels are well stocked, which was convenient. I'm not great at saunas so I didn't get to try it, but my friend loved it so much she went two days in a row. After relieving your initial fatigue at the therapy garden, try finishing off refreshingly at the sauna!
