Day 2 breakfast at Shilla Monogram Da Nang (Banh Xeo/Ban Cuon spot🥢)

Breakfast on day 2 of Shilla Monogram Da Nang. I wake up to the morning sun rising. Shilla's sunrise is truly gorgeous — for three days straight, I've greeted a sunrise without a single cloud in the sky. I'm not sure if it was the sunrise that woke me up, or the delicious smell of food wafting up from the breakfast restaurant downstairs, haha. I just wipe the sleep from my eyes and head down to the breakfast restaurant!

For Shilla Monogram's breakfast restaurant, the answer is an opening run at 6:30! Once it's past 7, you can't get a seat close to the food. My favorite is the banh cuon, and this time I went for the plainer, more filling version! I cleared two plates! It seems banh cuon comes in three types in total. Once you get a taste for this, it's trouble — you'll gain weight, lol.

Even the last bowl of rice noodle soup rolled by the noodle master was so delicious! This is just my personal thought, but when I had breakfast at Shilla Monogram, I never felt like, 'Wow, this is amazing!' But after checking out of the Shilla and having breakfast at another nice hotel, I found myself thinking once again, 'Ah, so the Shilla's food really was delicious after all.
