🇻🇳 Review: 24.12 Day 4 of the trip with my parents in their 80s

Day 4 of the trip On day 4, we leisurely toured around Da Nang city and rested at our accommodation. We didn't pack the schedule too tightly. We got up early and the sun had already risen, but because of the clouds we missed the sunrise, haha. In December it's hard to catch the rising sun. We fumbled around getting dressed and went down to the breakfast hall... Our parents had already taken a good window seat and were having their meal, haha. They eat well now even without us around... Seems like the Hyatt Regency breakfast hall really suits their taste.

After the meal, I rested for a bit and requested a 12-hour rental starting at 10 o'clock. I planned to take a light tour around Da Nang city. The first place I visited was Nam Son Pagoda, a small, quiet, and peaceful temple. It's located along the flight path into Da Nang Airport, so countless planes fly overhead in the sky, haha.

There is no admission fee. At the entrance, you must put on a monk's robe over your shorts to go in. If you'd rather not, you can just wear long pants.

It's not an extremely large area, but it's a beautifully decorated and lovely temple. If you walk around every corner, there's a lot to see. Many young local women come here to take photos too. The photos come out really well. You hardly see any foreigners here. It's a quiet, relaxing temple that's nice for a leisurely walk.

I'm heading toward the market now. It's lunchtime, isn't it? ^^

We went to Sseummoi Garden. We went without a reservation, but luckily there was a table for 10! ^^ We ordered lots of authentic Vietnamese dishes~ I had such delicious memories from eating in Nha Trang, so I brought my parents along, and sure enough, they enjoyed the food a lot too. ^^ They even said it was much tastier than that ㅁ restaurant.

It came out just right. This is a great restaurant to bring elderly parents to. After the meal we moved on to a nearby massage shop. It's located close to Sseummoi Garden. There were 8 of us, so we booked in advance ~ It's a well-known place, so we trusted it and it delivered. Everyone was satisfied. When getting a massage for a large group, I definitely recommend booking through KakaoTalk. We booked ours 2 weeks in advance too ^^

After the massage, I went to the local market and did some casual shopping.

I went into the mirror shop too and looked around. Since it seemed like it would take a long time, I left the ladies to look around the market, rented a car, and went and bought Grab clothes and a helmet, haha.

I got back to the accommodation around 4pm and told the rental car driver we'd meet again around 6:30 after a short rest. While I'm resting here at the accommodation, my parents and the kids are off enjoying themselves at the pool, haha. My parents are each having a glass of juice — not sure who ordered it for them. Seeing them enjoy themselves even without us, haha, I guess I was worrying too much. It's early December so with no sun out it should be cold, but they don't seem to feel cold at all, haha.

After resting up enough, I went to Son Tra Market with just my friend and my noonas (older sisters). My parents said they'd rather rest. It was a 12-hour rental, but we finished up with the rental car at 7 o'clock. We took a Grab to get to our accommodation, haha. Since it was December of last year, Son Tra Market hadn't changed a bit. Bought some durian and mango! Bargained and bought a bag, and...

I went to the cashew nut guy and bought two bags of cashews and macadamias and brought them home haha

After arriving at the accommodation, for dinner we ordered pizza from Herb Pizza and chicken wings from Hi-Koi, and enjoyed our last night having them as dinner in the hotel lobby on the first floor.

Day 4 Itinerary Breakfast - 12-hour car rental - Namsen Temple - Ssemmoi Garden - Brown Spa - Han Market - Accommodation - Swimming - Sunjaya Night Market (end of rental) - End at accommodation Tip All transportation was done using the 12-hour rental. Since we traveled a lot of distance the day before, we planned a relaxed schedule for some rest. The rental driver had a slight issue, so we let him finish early. He left with a smile though, haha. Since it was the last night, we didn't want to be too tired, so we enjoyed it in moderation. The fact that our parents didn't get too tired either was the best part.
