🪪Sharing the cost of passport reissuance (fee increase from March 1st)

As my passport's expiration date was approaching, I applied for a renewal. On the day I applied, I got my passport photo taken at a photo studio, applied for the passport, and completed payment — the whole thing took about 40 minutes~~ Maybe because it's not peak season, it wasn't as crowded as I expected. As you may know, since March 1st this year, the passport issuance fee has been raised. So, based on the increased amount, I'll also share the total expenses that went into getting my passport. 1. Passport photo A passport photo finished in 5 minutes! At a photo studio in front of city hall, I saw this sign and just walked right in. Passport photos can never come out pretty...🤣 They don't care about quality~~ㅎㅎ It varies by studio, but here it was 25,000 won. 5 passport photos + 5 wallet-size photos Because it had this configuration, I think it'll be pretty useful too, haha The photos turned out better than I expected 🤣 (since the original isn't that great, haha)

2. Fill out the passport application form First, please fill out the passport application form.

3. Applying for a Passport at the Counter I took a number ticket and applied for my passport at the counter.

4. Passport Issuance Fee Payment I'm applying for the 10-year, 58-page passport~! I'll travel more and more and more~!! The issuance fee is 52,000 KRW.

7. Additional expenses depending on the passport pick-up method Alright! This is exactly where it's decided whether or not extra costs end up being added... It's about how you receive your passport. Given my circumstances, I applied for mail delivery. ▪︎Pick up in person: No cost incurred ❌️ ▪︎Registered mail delivery: 5,500 won cost incurred ⭕️ So here's the total cost!! ▪︎Passport photo 25,000 won ▪︎Passport issuance fee (10 years, 58 pages) 52,000 won ▪︎Registered mail fee 5,500 won Total is 82,500 won!!

⚠️Important Notes ✅️Only photos taken within the last 6 months are acceptable ✅️You must bring a passport with a valid expiration date ✅️If the photo does not meet the specifications, corrections will be required

⚠️ Passports that still have validity remaining will get a punch hole like this~~ It's not really a "return" — it's more like we're just making it unusable~~
