[Danang Review ✈️] Mỹ Sơn Sanctuary 3 (Extra)

March 2025, a trip to Da Nang with my pretty girl ✈️ We got on a buggy car, but since not enough people were gathering, she suddenly said she wanted to just walk! She said we wouldn't have to walk much, so I said sure, I'll come too ^^ (I got fooled... that was HER definition of "not much" 🤣)

We definitely started out together... but she's gone🤣🤣 She left me behind, unable to walk fast because my instep was scraped raw~ That's when the solo battle began.

The path I thought I'd reach quickly... There was no one around, so it was a bit scary, but before I knew it, I'd gotten used to it and was actually enjoying myself. I had someone take a photo of me reflected in the traffic mirror, and then reality hit me. Why hadn't I worn the sneakers I brought, choosing instead to look all fancy for nothing— flip-flops with bright red lipstick, lol. In the end, on the way there I ended up video calling a friend 😅 They said it'd be quick, but the end was nowhere in sight, and I ended up getting lost. Thanks to my husband who's great at reading maps, we arrived safely! We ended up walking 2km. I have to give myself some credit 🤗 Still, whenever a buggy passed by in the middle, they'd stop and offer us a ride. Most of them were foreigners, but "It's ok!" "괜찮아~ Ding-ding-ding-ding-ding 🎶" — I said that so many times I nearly went crazy lol

Once you enter the entrance of the historic site, there's a folk performance venue. Take a moment to rest and enjoy watching the performance too.

The walk back after touring the historic site was really beautiful. It was a short moment, but it felt like solo travel, and I really enjoyed it.

It's labeled as a rest area, but this place is actually a souvenir shop, and it's really special. They make scarves using an old traditional method, apparently! I wanted to look around more, but since she had gone ahead and was waiting for me, I decided to move on. Before boarding the buggy car, something pretty yet curious? A bird's song made me stop in my tracks. I captured it on video, and then set off again to join her! Meeting up with her I rode a comfortable buggy car on the way out ^^ 🎈 Overall review of Miseon Historic Site 🎈 If you're usually interested in historic sites and enjoy walking, I'd recommend it. Most of the path is flat, so walking isn't too demanding, but there's little shade, so it gets quite hot. The sunlight is strong, so sunscreen and a hat are a must, and it would also be good to bring a small parasol. There's a large rest area in the middle You don't need to worry about drinks or water! Comfortable clothes and sneakers are a must! Ditch all the fashion pretense and give it to the 🐕!
