■ 1. When you photograph your passport The entry card requires your name in English, passport number, nationality, date of birth, and expiration date. ■ How are passport photos handled First of all, we do not store passport photos. ■ 3. It connects to the government portal Once everything is ready, the app moves you over to the government portal. When the portal opens, you'll see "Auto-fill" at the bottom of the screen, and tapping it places the values we prepared into the official form. We'll also let you know how many fields were filled in. The portal proceeds in the order Passenger Info → Travel Info → Review and Submit, and the same button appears at every step. This is as far as VietSpot's part goes.

■ We read the most annoying security code (CAPTCHA) for you and enter it automatically When you start on the government portal, it asks you to type in the characters shown on screen. This is a new step that was added in September 2026, and honestly it's the most annoying part. When you try to read the blurry letters with your eyes and type them into the small box, you keep making mistakes with o and 0, l and 1, and upper/lowercase letters, and every time you get it wrong, a new code pops up. After trying about three times on airport WiFi, you feel like giving up. When you go to the portal on the VietSpot app, the app reads this CAPTCHA and puts it in the input field for you. And it shows you what it read next to it. If the text on the screen matches, you can leave it as is, or if it's different, you can click "Read Again" or correct it manually. Verification must be done by you. Reading it out to you is as far as the app's job goes — the eyes to check if it's right and the submit button are your part. Still, the chore of rubbing your eyes and retyping those six characters disappears.

■ 4. You must review and submit it yourself VietSpot does not submit the report on your behalf. Please fill in any items that are left blank yourself, review the entire content, and then complete the CAPTCHA verification and final submission on the government portal yourself.
