(🇻🇳 Room 6, August 30 - September 4) Travel journal.. Departure and arrival (VietJet)

I used to love Thailand, but for the 1 year and 8 months since I fell for Danang, this will be my 6th visit to Danang at the end of August. Since June, a friend of mine has been going through the process of closing down the shop they had been running, and after having spent about 3 months getting 80% ready for a new shop, they must have been exhausted, so this trip is to give them a bit of a rest. As with before, about 2 weeks before departure, I booked the accommodation and plane tickets and now we're setting off. Before departure As always, even if it means staying up all night, a trip always starts in the morning!! Out of my 6 trips to Da Nang, I took a morning flight all 6 times. Trips 1–4: T'way at 7:55 AM. Trip 5: VietJet at 7:00 AM. Trip 6: VietJet at 6:15 AM. If you take a night flight, I feel like you lose a whole day.. So as long as the price is right, a morning flight is a must. Last time (5th trip), Vietjet with baggage included was 180,000 KRW (free baggage event). This time (6th trip), Vietjet is around 230,000 KRW per person (I'm still debating this too, the price went up by 20,000 KRW) but it includes free baggage and free seat selection. For those who say Vietjet is cramped, yes, it is a bit cramped haha. I'm quite an oversized build at 184cm/100kg, but I could still fly on it just fine ^^ All the schedules (?) during the trip Accommodation rental valet, haha, once I finish just about this much, two hours before leaving home I'll pack my suitcase, and head to the airport at 3:30 AM!! My home is in Incheon Seo-gu, so even driving leisurely, it only takes about 30-40 minutes to reach Terminal 1. Naturally, this trip too starts with the number one valet, starting with KOKO Valet!!! KOKO Valet starts from 4 AM. I booked a 4:05 reservation but arrived at 4:10. If you park your car, they'll take care of it for you^^ (Coco Valet)

I dropped off the car at valet in 10 minutes and checked in my luggage at 4:20.. Pretty fast, right? I actually put a 20-inch carrier inside my 28-inch carrier.. I can already imagine how much luggage I'll have on the way back.. On the way there it's 20kg.. I'm already calculating what I can buy without going over the weight limit..ㅋㅋ

Before boarding the train, I always stop by Starbucks without fail!!! Got two cups. Now heading off on the train. Those flying low-cost airlines always take this train!! Winner winner — the 6:15 VietJet gate is number 102!!! It's the very last gate on the east side..haha

Worried I'd get hungry, I went to Dunkin' and picked out this and that... And ended up paying for a single lettuce leaf!!

Had a sip of Gongcheongsu (airport beer) with a friend before boarding the flight!!! Now boarding the flight to Da Nang!!

Ahh~~~ let's make it through 4 and a half hours!!! (It's not cramped at all, not cramped at all) My seat was the 4th row from the front, with the middle column empty, so I ended up sitting apart from my friend. Since seat selection was free for us, we picked out the pricier seats, but it turned out totally empty back there. The back was completely packed though.

During the flight, my stomach got gassy so I went to sit in the bathroom... But why does the plane shake so violently only when I go to the bathroom?? My friend was sitting in her seat cracking up the whole time lol Saying the plane shakes only when I go to the bathroom... They said Typhoon No. 14 was coming and would pass south of Hai An around the same time as our flight path, so I was worried, but contrary to that, it was super calm with no turbulence at all, and we landed at Da Nang Airport!!!!!

I breezed through the airport thanks to the immigration fast track. I landed at 9 am, and about two other flights arrived around the same time. I got through quickly, picked up my luggage, and took a deep breath, filling my lungs with Vietnamese air. Now, with the feeling of 'was this really a foreign country?', I go for a look around Da Nang City, a bit further from where I am.
