To explore Hoi An's night market, walking is definitely the way to go!!! But for those of you getting around by motorbike, there's one important thing to keep in mind. You need to park your motorbike, and you can't just park it anywhere! Please be sure to park your motorbike only in the designated parking areas!!

Motorbikes aren't allowed inside Hoi An, so you'll need to go around the outer edge to enter, just like on the map. (Actually electric motorbikes don't matter, but there are a lot of people inside Old Town, so it's better to go around.) I came to park and saw a familiar sign...

At first, I thought this sign meant parking was allowed, so I parked there (last May).

That sign definitely means NO PARKING!! As for where you can park, if you look roughly at it, the areas like in the photo below where there are lots of motorbikes are the parking areas. There's an attendant there who takes care of the motorbikes. As for the price, it's around 5,000 to 10,000 dong at the market.
