(🇻🇳6-night trip, Aug 30 - Sep 4) Travel journal.. Day one: exchanging money and buying fruit at a local market

I got a refreshing massage near Hansi Market and then went to a nearby popular currency exchange spot to exchange money. I went around to 4 famous places asking about rates, and even during busy times, I checked the rates other people were getting each time. Roughly speaking, there was a difference of about 1,000 to 3,000 dong. Among them, I went to Kim's place, which had the best exchange rate. This is the exchange shop that was recommended. First I exchanged 300,000 won. And then I came back and exchanged an additional 200,000 won!! It was only about 1,000 dong (50 won) different from the place that gave the best rate, but... haha You know that feeling... getting even 10 won more feels like a success... hehe

I came here to exchange money in a good mood and buy some fresh fruit. It used to be a mirror shop, but it's clearly been changed into a fruit smoothie shop now. There was no durian, but I bought and packed the mangosteen and mango that I wanted to eat. Since the fruit is kept refrigerated, it was fresh. The fruit prices were 50,000 dong for mango and 150,000 dong for mangosteen. They sliced it up and packed it nicely so it was easy to eat.

There was ice cream too... T_T
