Perhaps it was because it was Saturday evening. The tables were all full. There were some empty seats scattered here and there, but we couldn't find a suitable spot, so we brought out a low chair table from the corner and sat down.

Almost everyone there seemed to be a local. Maybe because it was Saturday? There was a live performance going on. The songs were ones I couldn't understand at all, but it was really nice. There are quite a lot of people smoking here and there, so non-smokers might find it a bit uncomfortable. Just then a good seat opened up, so I moved!! But that spot also had cigarette smoke... T.T The day I visited was 3 days before Vietnam's Independence Day, so everywhere I went there were lots of Vietnamese flags and commemorative foods. This authentic cafรฉ was the same.

I ordered a drink because the decoration looked prettyโthe avocado coffee I always drink. When I asked what the red thing on top was, they showed me the product. It's strawberry-flavored cake decoration powder, haha. Maybe because there was a live performance, they charged a service charge of 20,000 dong per person.

After you order and sit down, they bring your drinks. The rain has stopped and the strong breeze feels nice and refreshing. While listening to Vietnamese music I don't understand, I suddenly realized "Oh wow! I'm really in Vietnam right now!" It just hit me. I really didn't want to think about anything. I just wanted to think about good things, so I sat with my friend for a while before heading out. It's a great place for taking photos and somewhere young people really like to visit, so you should definitely stop by. Business hours are from 6:30 AM to 10:30 PM.

How to get there Trinh Cafe (์ฐ์นดํ) You'll need to walk or ride a motorbike to get there. To make it easier to explain, I added a starting point on the map โ it's Hoi An Books & Cookies. Cross the bridge up ahead with the gorgeous sunrise view, and keep walking until you start wondering "is this really the right way?" โ that's when Trinh Cafe shows up. Sometimes surprising friends pop up along the way too. They've been eating so well that they've gotten huge... ๐๐๐ญ๐๐๐ญ

Hoi An Memories Show (theme park) โ for those staying nearby, it's right there as soon as you cross the bridge behind and come out.
