🇻🇳[Behind the scenes of the Da Nang fam tour] Vietnamese traditional dessert Bánh bò — a review of trying it for the first time thanks to a neighbor

My travel mate from the Da Nang fam tour we went on together back in April~ Thanks to Jokmae-nim, I was lucky enough to get to try this precious snack! It's a local dessert I might have just walked right past if I'd been alone, but thanks to you I got to taste a brand new dessert. 🥰 Apparently 'Bánh bò' means a sponge cake that resembles a cow's udder (or comes from the way the batter puffs up as it rises).

The inside is riddled with holes like a honeycomb, and it's way chewier and stickier than our country's sool-bbang or jeungpyeon! It's a dessert with a surprising texture~ There's no dryness at all, it's moist~~ We tried dipping it in coconut milk, and the combination was subtly addictive, making us keep reaching for more. They say it's even tastier when warmed up in the microwave, so if you get the chance in Da Nang later, please give it a try~~^^ The name of this dessert is~ Bánh bò!!
