Ba Duong's Bánh Xèo – Eat Once and You'll Remember!

If you come to Da Nang and haven't tried Ba Duong's banh xeo, it'd be a bit of a shame 😋 The shop is tucked in an alley on Hoang Dieu street, quite a way in, but it's always packed with customers. This is also a long-standing bánh xèo restaurant, featured by Michelin Guide in their list of places with delicious cuisine.

🥞 Bánh xèo: The crepes come out piping hot, with a golden and crispy exterior, filled with succulent shrimp and meat. Roll them up with rice paper and fresh vegetables, then dip into the restaurant's signature dipping sauce. What I love most is their ground meat and peanut dipping sauce—rich, deeply flavorful, and absolutely addictive.

🥩 Nem lui & beef wrapped in betel leaves: also very suitable for wrapping together with bánh xèo, eating with vegetables and pickled items so it's less rich.

🥬 The fresh herbs and pickled vegetables served alongside help balance out the richness of the cake. However, the restaurant is quite crowded, so if you go during peak hours, you may have to wait for a table or your dishes may take longer than usual to arrive. Some recent reviews also have different opinions about taste and price, so the experience can vary depending on your palate.
