An elegant lunch at Shilla Monogram Danang Bistro M 🍽

Bistro M is a casual restaurant located on the 1st floor of Shilla Monogram Danang Residence, offering Italian-focused Western à la carte cuisine for both lunch and regular menu. Located near the outdoor swimming pool and pool bar, it operates from 11:00 to 22:00 (lunch orders available from 11:00).

Our main menu, priced in Vietnamese dong (VND), includes wood-fired pizzas such as the Quattro Cheese Pizza (450,000 VND), Chapsteak (580,000 VND), burgers and fries, pasta, and local-style noodle dishes. For dessert, there are churros served with ice cream (25,000 VND), and seasonal mango bingsu, among others. As for drinks, there are cocktails such as Mojito and Cosmopolitan (around 230,000 VND) and local beers like Tiger, Saigon, and Larue. It largely shares its à la carte menu with the main buffet restaurant 'Dining M,' and you can enjoy a casual meal at the indoor or outdoor seating by the pool.

I had an elegant lunch in a spacious and pleasant space. Isn't the interior so clean and comfortable? It was a delightful time filled with laughter and lively conversation while enjoying the food. For a drink, I ordered a cool iced Americano, and three kinds of bread were served as a pre-meal course — surprisingly, unlike its appearance, it turned out to be a real bread specialist spot.

As an appetizer, three kinds of spring rolls (fried rolls, fresh rolls, etc.) came out, but the spring rolls were just so-so for my taste~ nothing particularly special ^^ After that, the mushroom velouté soup served with puff pastry was totally my style, so I ate it up happily. The soup came out nice and hot, seasoned just right, and had a really smooth texture.

The main course was Vietnamese king prawns and beef sirloin steak. At first the portion looked small, but as I elegantly cut into it and ate, I ended up feeling surprisingly full. There was a slight sense of it not being quite enough, but steak is supposed to taste better when you eat it wanting just a bit more, right? 😁 For dessert, there was a lotus seed and fresh longan dessert soup — a menu where sweet coconut water, nutty lotus seeds, and sweet fresh longan come together inside a mini coconut. It was a bit too sweet for my taste, so I only tried a bite or two, but it's definitely a high-end dessert.

Bistro M offers a well-rounded variety of à la carte items, so it's great to order and enjoy while swimming, and I'd recommend it to anyone spending the whole day relaxing at the resort. I heard the pizza and hamburger here are absolutely delicious, so I'll have to try those next time ^^
