Ban Co Peak, Da Nang – Viewing the City from Above. A Different Perspective on Da Nang
Located on the Son Tra Peninsula, Ban Co Peak is a scenic viewpoint for travelers who want to see Da Nang from above. From the summit area, you can take in the coastline, Da Nang Bay, and the rows of buildings in the distance. On clear days, the view stretches all the way to the horizon.

A familiar highlight here is the statue of Đế Thích (Indra) beside the stone chessboard. Together with the mountain and forest scenery and the winding roads across the peninsula, this spot is often chosen for exploring Sơn Trà by motorbike or car.

Experiences on the way to the summit
The journey to Ban Co Peak is also part of the trip. The road winds along the mountainside, with stretches overlooking the sea and the city, making it ideal for stopping at designated viewpoints to take in the scenery.

Upon arrival, visitors can take photos by the stone chessboard, admire the panoramic view from the high point, and enjoy the mountain atmosphere. Visibility depends heavily on the weather; on foggy days or when clouds are low, the views of the city and the sea may be obscured.
