Eating every day in Da Nang without cooking: what a week of delivered meals actually costs

Most long-stay apartments here come with a kitchen you’ll barely use. Not because you can’t cook, but because a full rice plate delivered to your door costs less than the ingredients would, and takes twenty minutes instead of an hour. Working from home, that trade makes itself.

Prices below come from the listings of 538 shops in the delivery section on vietSpots, checked on 05/11/2026. These are the shops’ own published prices.

The everyday rice plate — 30,000 to 50,000₫

This is the backbone of eating here. Cơm Tấm Ngon on Hà Huy Tập lists grilled pork rib at 50,000₫, rib-and-pâté at 45,000₫, fried chicken or claypot pork at 40,000₫, each with pickles and cucumber; extra rice is 10,000₫ and a bitter melon soup another 10,000₫. Cơm Tấm 30K on Huỳnh Tấn Phát puts its price point in its name, and sells toppings à la carte — grilled rib or braised pork 20,000₫, steamed pâté 9,000₫, fried egg 7,000₫. Cơm Gà Thố in Liên Chiểu runs 37,000₫ a plate across the board, with a two-person combo at 85,000₫.

Noodles and soup — 25,000 to 60,000₫

Khánh Ngân in Hòa Xuân lists bánh canh with snakehead fish at 30,000₫ and baby-clam noodles at 25,000₫ — about the cheapest proper meal in this list. At the other end, Ti Dương at Chợ Cồn lists bún bò Huế at 60,000₫ a bowl, and closes at 6pm. Bún Đậu Cô Thủy on Hàn Mặc Tử runs 36,000₫ for a standard set, 46,000₫ with fried nem chua, 66,000₫ for the large — and stays open until midnight, which matters when you’ve been working late.

Vegetarian, every day of the week

Worth knowing even if you’re not vegetarian, because the price is flat and the menu is wide. Ẩm Thực Chay An Lạc on Quang Trung lists vegetarian mì Quảng, bánh canh, bún Huế, phở and bánh cuốn all at 33,000₫, and mixed vegetarian rice, bamboo-shoot noodles or glass noodles at 36,000₫. Open from 6am.

When you want something familiar

Boom Pizza in Hòa Cường lists a 22cm pizza at 99,000–129,000₫ and a 27cm combo with chicken, sausage and fries at 199,000₫, open until 11pm. For breakfast, Bánh Mì Ba Hoàng on Hoàng Diệu opens at 6:30 and lists a fried-egg bánh mì at 25,000₫, double egg at 32,000₫, steamed bun at 20,000₫.

For a group, or a weekend

Cháo Vịt Thu Bồn on Trưng Nữ Vương lists a single-portion duck plate at 80,000₫, half a roast duck at 175,000₫ and a whole bird at 350,000₫ — the way to feed four without leaving the apartment. Bún Đậu Thanh Nhân on Lý Tự Trọng lists a large mixed set at 60,000₫. And for dessert, Chè Bưởi Chi Võ on Phan Châu Trinh lists chè from 25,000 to 38,000₫.

The discount is on the listing, not hidden

Nearly every shop above carries a welcome discount applied to delivery orders — 10% at Khánh Ngân and Ba Hoàng, 13% at Cơm Tấm 30K, 15% at most of the rest, 20% at Ti Dương. It’s shown on the item price before you order, so the figure you see is the figure you compare.

Worth knowing before you order

🕐 Check closing time, not just opening — several of the best shops here shut at 6 or 8pm. Ti Dương closes at 18:00; Cơm Tấm 30K at 18:00. 🍚 Extras are cheap, mains aren’t flexible — extra rice runs 7,000–10,000₫ at most rice shops, so order the smaller plate and top it up. 🥗 Flat-price vegetarian menus are the easiest way to eat lighter for a week without hunting for options. 🌙 Late options are thin — Cô Thủy to midnight and Boom Pizza to 11pm are the exceptions, not the rule. 📍 Distance matters more than price at this level — a 25,000₫ bowl from across the city isn’t cheaper once it arrives cold.
