Fen Villa Mini: one-bedroom villa with private pool, owner has handed over the keys
The word "healing" is used so much it's nearly lost its meaning. But if we set aside the scented candles and meditation music and ask directly: what actually makes people feel lighter after a few days? It's often something very simple — not meeting anyone, not talking to anyone.

Such places in Da Nang are harder to find than expected. When looking through villa listings in the city, most of them are 5 to 7 bedroom types, with karaoke, a movie theater room, and a rooftop BBQ area. That's a house made for gathering, and they do that job really well. But if you're going with just a few people and want some quiet, staying in a place like that feels both like too much and a bit out of place.
Fen Villa Mini goes in the opposite direction. A one-bedroom villa at 07 Nguyen Trong Nghia, Son Tra. Renting means renting the whole house, not renting a single room in a shared home.
The most valuable detail lies in how it operates: self-managed key handover. No reception desk, no staff on duty, no one knocking to clean the room. You get the key and take care of the rest yourself. For someone who's exhausted, this isn't a lack of service — this IS the service.

The yard is the best part. The private pool runs the length of the yard, not large but enough to soak in; the side wall is covered in ornamental banana plants and bird-of-paradise; a string of lights hangs across; a table with two chairs is set right at the water's edge. The bedroom and living room open directly onto it through sliding glass doors. Sitting at that table, you can't see anyone else's house, and no one can see you either.
There's a full kitchen and an outdoor BBQ grill, so if you don't feel like going out, you don't have to at all. There's a garden, free parking, luggage storage, and pets are welcome.
Now, let's be honest about the word "yên".

Peace here means peace within the four walls, not peace because of isolation. The villa is located in the My Khe area — the host notes it's just a 30-second walk to the beach — but being close to My Khe beach means it's surrounded by streets, by seafood restaurants that get crowded with customers in the evening, and by traffic. Closing the gate really does feel separate, but once you step outside it, you're right in the city.
So if what you're looking for is the sound of the forest, the sound of streams, no phone signal — then you need to go up to the mountains, not here. But if what you need is a place where no one bothers you, yet is still just a few minutes' walk from the beach and from food, then this place is right.

Here's how to use this place the right way: wake up early, take a walk to the beach before the sun comes up — My Khe in the early morning is the most pleasant time of the day, locals here go swimming from 5 a.m. About soaking in the pool, breakfast in the yard. In the afternoon, go get a massage. In the evening, eat seafood in the area and then head back — no need to go far. Three days like that is enough.
Not suitable for everyone: groups of people who want to gather, people who need reception staff to handle everything, or people who want mountain-forest style quiet.
