Review) ▶️✍️ A truly local men's hair salon - JOHN HO BARBER SHOP

After checking into the hotel, I was planning to rest for a bit, but suddenly one of my travel companions wanted to get a haircut... I was like, "We should've gotten our haircuts in Korea before coming here!" But when I asked what if we messed up our hair by cutting it here, he said he didn't have time to cut it back home, haha. So I quickly searched... and it was all high-end salons focused on hair care and pampering, just salon after salon~~. Besides those fancy care-focused salons, I searched specifically for a regular barber that just cuts hair, haha. I looked up barbershops and found a few places with good reviews. Not the kind you have to drive to... Looking for one within walking distance of the hotel, Junho Barbershop seemed like a decent option. It's about 700 meters from the Radisson Red My Khe Hotel, taking around 10 minutes on foot. I walked over while looking around the street, and when I got there a Western guy was already seated, and a few more people came in shortly after. It's located in Da Nang, in a rather run-down back alley in an old-fashioned countryside-feeling neighborhood. I didn't check the price beforehand, I just went there, and when I saw the price at the entrance, I laughed and thought, "Is this price really right?

It feels like doing business on the 1st floor of a countryside house. Please turn a blind eye to the cleanliness~^^

I thought it was a chameleon? Or a lizard? So I asked what animal it was, and it said... a dragon~! A dragon? A lizard?? LOL, it was so fascinating that I watched it for quite a while.

There are some Western customers waiting, and since they're told they have to wait for the people currently inside to finish, some of them are leaving, saying they'll come back a bit later.

The haircut seemed really delicate and done with great care. I even asked for a shave too. They tilted the chair back and did a full steam towel treatment~^^ They rubbed my shoulder and back line with a hand massage machine~~ They give you a massage too. When it came time to pay, they asked for 50,000 dong and I was surprised! I took out 50,000 dong and asked "is this right?" and they smiled and said yes.
