DIFF International Fireworks Festival: fireworks fired over the Han River, 8 countries competing

DIFF (Da Nang International Fireworks Festival) is the largest international fireworks festival in Southeast Asia. Organized since 2008, it brings together 8 competing teams from around the world each year (Italy, France, Poland, Russia, South Korea, China, England, Vietnam). It takes place over 5-6 weekend nights in June.
Each night, 2 countries compete, with each performance lasting 20-22 minutes of fireworks combined with music. The firing stage is set in the middle of the Han River, and the audience watches from both riverbanks. The VIP area has seats, while the free area stands along the Bach Dang and Tran Hung Dao riverbanks.
Free viewing: stand along the Bạch Đằng riverbank from Rồng Bridge to Sông Hàn Bridge. Arrive before 19:00 to secure your spot; fireworks begin at 20:00. VIP viewing: tickets 300,000–1,500,000 VND depending on tier, book through the DIFF website. Hotel rooms with river views increase in price 2–3 times during the DIFF season.
