Tam Thanh is a small fishing village in Tam Ky City, Quang Nam Province, about 60 km south of Da Nang. In 2016, the Korea–Vietnam Community Art Exchange project, carried out by 20 young painters from both countries, transformed this poor fishing village into Vietnam's first mural village.

Over 100 paintings are drawn on the walls of local homes, electric poles, and wharves — depicting the daily lives of fishermen, children, and the sea. Residents live within an outdoor gallery every day. A walk around the village takes 1-2 hours, capturing every corner with photographs.

From Da Nang: it's a 90-minute drive by car/motorbike along QL1A → turn into DT618. Free entry to the village. Combine your visit with the 7km-long Tam Thanh beach right next door — a quiet beach with white sand and cheap, fresh seafood. The afternoon from 3-5pm has the best light for photographing the murals.
