Driftwood Village Hoi An - When Drifting Logs Become Art

This place begins with logs swept away by floodwaters, drifting to rivers and beaches after storms. Instead of being discarded, they are repurposed by local artisans, carved and transformed into unique works of art.

The special thing is that you don't just come to look. Cui Lu Village has workshops where visitors can try wood carving, painting and create their own small product under the guidance of the craftsmen. Some programs also combine touring the workshop space with learning about the story behind materials that seem as if they had been thrown away.

The space is located in the countryside area of Hoi An, featuring many works inspired by animals, nature, and Vietnamese culture. The collection currently showcases more than 300 handcrafted works here.
