Mi Quang 1A
Mì Quảng 1A is located right at the corner of Hai Phong street, opens from early morning, and is almost always packed with local people heading to work early. What makes this dish special is that it has very little broth — just enough to barely cover the bottom of the bowl, with a rich turmeric and braised bone flavor, so you need to mix it thoroughly before eating. Golden, chewy and tender rice noodles topped with shrimp, pork, quail eggs, and a handful of fresh Trà Quế vegetables—wonderfully fragrant and aromatic. Don't forget to crumble the roasted sesame cracker and sprinkle it on top—that's precisely the crispy, crumbly part that creates the soul of the dish. A full bowl costs only around 30,000–50,000 Vietnamese dong, so affordable that you'll want to come back the next morning.
