A morning at the start of the week

Monday morning, as soon as I wheeled my bike out onto the street, I saw the sky was a deep, brilliant blue, with golden sunlight streaming through the tree canopies — it really felt wonderful.

I thought the start of this new week was going to be so peaceful, until I merged into a lane of cars waiting a dozen seconds at a red light under the blazing hot sun.

The morning sunlight looks so chill and crisp in photos, but riding out on the road you really feel your skin sting - not a single frame is exaggerated.

Luckily the sky is clear and the visibility is wide open, so the mood for going to work is a lot less sluggish than the gloomy overcast days.

Whoever is getting ready to head out, remember to wear a jacket and apply sunscreen carefully, or you'll get sunburned.
