Auntie Hanh's Sea Snails – A plate of Điện Phương-style spicy pulled snails, fragrant with lemongrass and chili

On a cool Danang afternoon, sitting down to slurp a piping-hot snail, feeling the spice bite the tip of your tongue, then sipping the rich, savory sauce — for that little snack craving, folks in the Quang region already know exactly where to go: Ốc Hút Hạnh. The restaurant is located at 31 Sư Vạn Hạnh, Hòa Hải, Ngũ Hành Sơn — very convenient to drop by after visiting the Marble Mountains. This is the Da Nang branch of the renowned Dien Phuong sea snail (oc hut) brand, a rustic dish that carries a strong imprint of Quang Nam cuisine. Snails are meticulously cleaned and stir-fried using a traditional recipe with lemongrass, chili, and a touch of coconut water, creating a wonderfully spicy and rich dish. The snail meat is firm and flavorful, infused with the aromatic essence of crispy fried shallots. The sauce here gets so much praise that customers often order extra bread just to soak up every last bit of it. Besides ốc hút (sucked snails), there's also steamed chip chip clams, cải-wrapped rice rolls, mixed jackfruit salad, dried beef salad, and many other grilled and mixed dishes. ✨ Reasons why you should visit: 🐚 Authentic Điện Phương sucking snails – fiery with lemongrass and chili, lightly rich with coconut milk, fresh and firm snail meat. 🍜 Our own special sauce recipe is rich and flavorful, delicious down to the last drop – remember to order extra bread to dip in it. 🥭 Rich variety of side dishes: mixed jackfruit salad, dried beef salad, steamed clams, egg roll wrapped in mustard greens, and grilled rice paper. 💸 Affordable prices, snails cost only about 45,000 – 50,000đ, perfect for a group of friends to sit and chat over drinks in the afternoon or evening. 📍 31 Su Van Hanh, Hoa Hai, Ngu Hanh Son, Da Nang 📞 0777 304 888 🕐 14:00 – 21:00 daily
