Cycling to explore Hoi An: where to rent a bike, and which route is the most beautiful to take?

Hoi An is a cycling paradise in Central Vietnam — flat roads, no hills, and light traffic. Most homestays and hotels offer free bicycles or rent them out for 30,000-50,000 VND per day. Choose a city bike with a front basket; there's no need for a mountain bike.
Route 1 Old Town (5km, 1-2 hours): From the homestay, run along the Thu Bon River bank and enjoy views of the old town during the day. Do not enter the old town (vehicles are banned from 8am-11am and 3pm-8pm). Route 2 - Thanh Ha pottery village (10km, 3h): Head west, visit the 500-year-old pottery-making village, watch craftsmen shaping clay on the spot, and buy pottery bowls and plates at factory prices.
Route 3: Bay Mau Coconut Forest + An Bang Beach (25km, full day): Stop by Cam Thanh to paddle a basket boat through the 100-year-old water coconut forest (100k/boat), then keep cycling out to An Bang Beach to enjoy fresh seafood. Route 4 – Tra Que vegetable village (8km): A 400-year-old organic vegetable farming village, with a cooking class held at a farmer's home.
