Trip) Cheonghwa-gonggan Bakery Cafe
This is Cheonghwa Space, one of the hanok cafés in Siheung. Dogs are welcome there too. I think the last time I went was the year before last, and this time when I visited, the dome-shaped seating covered with vinyl tents in the garden was gone, replaced by bungalows shaped like wonduma (traditional field huts). They have air conditioning, a nice woody scent, and since each bungalow is a private room, it was really nice. Each room has a different concept too — some have a floor-seating area with a low table, and it's different from room to room. There are quite a few indoor seats too, but the bungalows out in the yard are so popular that everyone goes around looking for an empty one. Luckily for us, a group was just leaving, so we were able to get in right away. The signature blue salt latte is nicely salty and sweet, very drinkable. This place is better for groups of 2 to 4 rather than large parties. Usually when there are a lot of people, they bring over chairs from the empty table next door and sit there. They push tables together for other people, but here they won't let you do that. They even complain if you bring over a chair to sit on. Where exactly are large groups supposed to sit...you have to sit apart, separately...lol Anyway, it's a cafe with zero flexibility. I have a lot more I could say but.... Basically if you go with a lot of people, the vibe is like that~^^ Aside from the outdoor garden atmosphere, the indoor vibe is similar to other cafes~^^
