For Lunar New Year, I went down to my in-laws' house and finished preparing the food, then took my mother-in-law out for a walk~ Father-in-law was busy brewing herbal medicine, worried about his kids' health, so it was just me, my mother-in-law, and a friend who went out together. Near Gwanghanru, we stopped by a newly opened hanok cafe, had a cup of tea, chatted comfortably, and spent some time resting for a bit. Since it's the holiday season, preparations for performances are also in full swing. Since you can rent a hanbok too, a lot of people come here just to take photos, but we decided to just look around, haha. Gwanghalluwon is a place I stop by every time I come to my in-laws', but it's always nice because it keeps feeling new and there's more to see each time. This time we also visited a newly opened cafe called Mongchunwon, and it was quite large in scale and had a really nice atmosphere. We ordered three of their signature drinks along with the egg bread and a few other kinds of bread to try. The double flower tea is fusion-style, so it seemed a bit too sweet for my mother-in-law's taste. The chicken egg bread had a chewy outside and was packed with soft egg on the inside, so I really enjoyed it. The atmosphere on the second floor was so cozy that it truly felt like stepping into a warm little sitting room! We brought two drinks upstairs and took some photos before heading down. This was when we took my parents-in-law on our trip to Da Nang. Since I take pictures every single moment, she's gotten used to it by now and jokingly asks whether I took nice pretty photos — she's such a cheerful mother-in-law who loves to joke around 😁 I showed her the pretty photos I'd taken, and we were in the middle of chatting away happily when she said there was another place she needed to stop by, so we got up haha. Namwon, where the list of places to visit keeps growing and growing! Even though it's my in-laws' hometown, I feel a fresh new feeling every single time I go. This is so great ^^
