Da Nang review ✈️ Eating an appetizer before breakfast 😋

My friend loves the bánh cuốn served at breakfast so much they say things like "this place's breakfast is actually pretty good~" because of it. Since we couldn't get bánh cuốn at the Awaken where we were staying, they kept saying they were disappointed, so we quickly jumped into searching for good restaurants. Since Odobanggu is there, we could comfortably go anywhere we thought of, so we searched without any worries — and it turned out there was a great bánh cuốn spot even in a neighborhood we were visiting for the first time. I hurried out there before breakfast! I parked my scooter in front of the shop, and the moment I stepped inside — seeing the meat sizzling away as it turned round and round on the spit, I instantly felt, 'ah, this place is going to be delicious!' Looking at the menu, it was refreshingly simple with just three items, so ordering was super easy too. Without a second thought, we just went ahead and got two sets 😁

The set includes one skewer of grilled meat + banh cuon. While looking around the shop as the food was being prepared, I found the hygiene wasn't bad for a local eatery. The only issue was that the chopsticks were wooden, which I don't really like, so I used the disposable chopsticks I had brought with me. Aside from that, the hygiene passes the test. The basic side dishes are just pickled radish and vegetables to eat with the banh cuon, but that's about all there is. I dipped it right into the nước mắm sauce and it was absolutely delicious 😋 There was a hint of spice in the meat's seasoning, but it wasn't a problem at all and I really enjoyed it. Also, the pickled radish here wasn't too sweet or too sour, so I ended up finishing the whole plate 🤭 With the set priced at 35,000 dong per person, I'd call it a successful, tasty appetizer 💯
