Parata Airlines started new flights to Da Nang from November, and I flew on it twice, in November and December. Compared to Korean low-cost airlines, the seat spacing is a bit wider. In November I boarded from the satellite terminal, so I had to take the shuttle train, but in December I boarded from the main terminal, which was so much better. Not having to take the shuttle train also saves time, which is great. It's near the end on the west side, gate 48... It was located at the west end together with the duty-free pickup counter, so it was close to collecting duty-free items and made getting around convenient. On Paranta Airlines' A330-200 aircraft, the front-row seats in the 20s are near the exit, but since the restroom is right next to them, it's best to avoid the left-side seats around 28-29 if you can. The restroom door is right there, so you'll keep running into people passing by~^^
The one downside of Paratha Airlines for me is the in-flight service. Basically, the time it takes to hand out the complimentary drinks is way too long. I found myself thinking it might have been better if they handed out drinks first and then took the meal orders afterward. While handing out the free drinks, they also took orders for the paid in-flight meals, which meant dealing with receipt processing, and the cart just sat there in the same spot for a long time until the ordered meals came out. The back rows are quite late in handing out free drinks. Since the staff aren't quick at their work, it took a really long time just to get the free drink. Also, the popular paid in-flight meals get all ordered up by the people in front, so by the time it gets to the back rows, you can't order them anymore.... Since I was seated toward the front, I luckily managed to order the chicken and beer set, but instead of crispy chicken, it was... soggy... lol It was really, really soggy... -_- The chicken tasted awful. ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
It seems like the overhead bins in the center aisle are higher than those by the window on Parata Air, so if your luggage is tall, you should store it in the center aisle bins. I've only flown Economy on Parata Air so far, but next time I'd like to try Premium Economy too.
