A quick 10th trip to Da Nang 2025.6.12~6.19 This time in Hoi An, my husband said there was something he wanted to buy too, so I said okay. He wants to get a pair of comfortable leather loafers and dress shoes made to order. They say Hoi An has great leather, and since people there have had skilled hands for a long time, there have been many craftsmen. Since they make and sell a lot of items using silk and leather... There are many skilled artisans here, and it seems their craftsmanship has been passed down through generations. First, I walked around the old town, and whenever I saw shoes, I'd go in, try them on, and check the prices—but I found that the prices and leather were different from shop to shop. I went to the place I had looked up before the trip. I tried on this pair and that pair, and finally found one that was light, soft, and just to my liking.

I had two pairs custom-made right away, and the staff were friendly while carefully fitting me several times. This place has fixed prices, but since I ordered several pairs, including even my slippers, custom-made, they kindly gave me a nice extra discount on the price, and it came out to about half the price of Old Town, haha. They delivered them to the hotel lobby the next day, and I love them so much.
