(Travel) Gwangju, this is totally amazing! Best value for money 👍

July 29–30, 2025. A great-value place to stay after a good night's rest in Gwangju — the OGOD Gwangju Station branch! After watching the Kia home game, I got in late at night and just needed a place to sleep, so this is the place I chose. It was 60,000 won for 3 people plus an extra 10,000 won paid on-site, but the owner didn't charge extra for my child. I'm not sure why, but for 60,000 won for 3 people they even gave us breakfast. This place was a total win for value! Honestly, this was my first time staying at a motel with my son... Contrary to my worries, the soundproofing was really good, so I felt relieved lol. But since he's a teenager, I was a little worried, haha. The room wasn't huge, but it had a double bed plus a single bed, so all three of us could sleep comfortably without any issues. Since I hadn't slept well the night before and had been up and moving since dawn, The three of us lay down side by side and just passed out lol 😂 There was also a clothes steamer, so I put in three sets of our uniforms and ran the sanitizing cycle — they came out so soft and fresh, it was great. I was going to skip breakfast the next morning, but I couldn't stand not knowing what it was like, so I woke up my sleeping son and we went down to check it out haha. It wasn't a lavish spread, but there was enough simple food set out to eat until we were full, and once again we ate it deliciously lol (Three people who can sleep and eat well anywhere we go 😅) I was so pleasantly surprised lately that motels are equipped just as nicely as hotels~ If we get another chance to go to Gwangju for a home game, our family of three will definitely visit again 😁
