Da Nang review โ๏ธ Digging into breakfast at Da Nang Awaken Hotel ๐ฅข
I got so excited taking photos of the sunrise over Mikevic that I ended up feeling hungry;; Since I was already out, I thought I'd go grab breakfast, so I headed to the breakfast hall, and since it opens at 6:30, with just 3 minutes left, I did an opening run to the breakfast hall ๐คฃ Since they open right on time, let's line up to be the first ones in ^^ While waiting, I took photos of the empty hall, and the moment I walked in, I took more, haha, I just kept snapping away ๐ There are plenty of tables and it's a spacious, comfortable place I staked out the seat I wanted first, then took a lap around to see what kind of food they had

The breakfast at Awaken Hotel has such a wide variety of dishes, and especially!! I loved that there were two kinds of broth for the rice noodle soup. You can choose the broth that suits your taste between the clear broth and the spicy broth, and they'll make it for you fresh on the spot. The egg zone is the same way โ if you choose omelette / fried / scrambled, they'll cook it for you right away. Among the many dishes, the stir-fried octopus was so delicious that I went back for it several times. There are also many kinds of stir-fried dishes, so I think it would be nice to enjoy them according to your taste.

In the drinks section, there were Vietnamese coffee and various juices, as well as blended drinks made with fruit and milk. My friend drank it happily, saying it was a healthy drink. As for me, I had an iced Americano โก This place seems to be great for coffee โ the Americano was really delicious. There were also many kinds of cereal, so I mixed them all a little at a time and enjoyed eating them.

At the banh mi corner, there was a staff member who freshly made banh mi on the spot, but I didn't get to try it so I'm not sure how it tasted~ There were also many kinds of ham & cheese, and the dim sum and root vegetables tasted great too. The salad vegetables were fresh, and there were so many kinds of rolls that it was fun picking and choosing what to eat.

Macarons, a love-hate relationship ๐ค Normally I don't even glance at macarons, but that day I weirdly wanted to eat just one. I thought I'd have it for dessert after my meal~ but then I couldn't even get a taste, and I couldn't find any more macarons to look at. While I was going around getting food, I noticed that at one table, someone had piled up two plates full and cleaned the whole thing out lol. At first I thought they were a Chinese family... I was cursing so much while talking to my friend, lol But then, what do you know!! Suddenly it turned into familiar-sounding Korean lol๐คฃ It was seriously so embarrassing I guess you shouldn't curse in another country's language And that's how, from that moment on, this macaron became my love-hate obsession Such a sad story... ๐ญ For the national holiday, the bread decorations were shaped like the Vietnamese flag, and it was actually really pretty The bakery also had a good variety There's also a nice variety of seasonal fruits prepared. Whenever the food starts running low, the staff quickly refill it or bring out something else instead, so I just kept eating without realizing it.

We're the kind of couple who seems like we'd eat all sorts of things, but we're actually pretty light eaters ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ Still, this breakfast made me want to reach for a bit of everything, so I think we ate even better than when we were in Hoi An ^^ The space was so clean and spacious that it just felt great to eat there. The cleanliness that the white-toned interior gives off made even the food feel like it was arranged more neatly and elegantly, and it's the kind of place that makes you want to have breakfast there every single morning โค๏ธ
