Review) ▶️✍️ Make sure to join the Incheon Airport Airstar Duty Free event.
The Airstar Duty Free app has just launched, and these days it's really popular among travelers heading abroad — Airstar Duty Free. Since you don't have to stand in line and wait at the duty-free pickup counter, and can receive your items right there at the airport duty-free shop, I think this Airstar Duty Free is pretty great.

The Airstar booth event is located in the central corridor of Terminals 1 and 2 at Incheon International Airport. It's right next to the information desk between Gate 25 and Gate 29 in Terminal 1, so just head toward the departure area near those gates.

If you download the new app, you get a $10 sign-up bonus. I already used mine when I traveled in June, so this time I don't have any credit left. ..ㅡ.ㅡ

Near the AirStar booth, there are people walking around wearing big mascot costumes — there's a QR code on their back, so scan it to earn points!

If you bring the receipt for a purchase made in duty-free using points, you can do the lottery draw. All the names are written on the lottery balls, haha, so just make sure you grab the one you want and bring it up.^^

I drew twice — once I got an electric fan, and once I got nothing, ugh ㅜㅜ I grabbed the tumbler ball, but the claw slipped... Still, I'm glad I at least won the fan~^^

I had to use my mileage points and reward points in the Air Star app, and there wasn't really anything I needed, but vitamins seemed like the best option, so I bought Chong Kun Dang Vitamin C for about $2 by using my mileage and points — pretty cheap! These days, though, they've blocked point/mileage usage on most of the cheaper items... -_-

I got a pouch and a mosquito-repellent bracelet as free gifts. 🚩🚩Airstar tip!! - On the Airstar app, don't use points in advance to buy — use your points on the day of purchase!! (I heard that Airstar's payment system processes the payment on the night of the purchase day. Because of that, there are posts saying that if an item bought using points ends up sold out, the points often don't get properly refunded.) Play it safe and use your points on the day of departure! 🏴If this is your first time using the Airstar app Download the app - receive points - accumulate points through attendance checks etc. until your departure date 🏴On your departure day at Incheon Airport Go to the Airstar booth, find the QR Man, scan the QR code shown on his back, and earn points- 🏴At the venue, go to the Airstar website -Use your points to buy duty-free products -Find the duty-free shop written on your receipt/voucher and pick up your items -Come to the Air Star booth and try the lucky draw When I departed in June, I had already used the $10 credit from Air Star.. so I didn't have any credit left. I used my accumulated points to buy vitamin C and did the lucky draw once. Then my partner suddenly decided to buy sunglasses, so on the spot I quickly installed the Air Star app for my partner, received the $10 credit, and after buying the sunglasses we did the lucky draw one more time. I don't have to go pick it up at the delivery counter — I can just receive it right on site, so there's no need to wait. Aerstar seems really convenient and nice~^^
