Da Nang

✈️Review) I left my precious bag behind in Da Nang~

Translated from Korean

It's an eco-bag I bought a while ago at a bag shop in Hoi An. I liked it so much that I've been carrying it around for years. I was squeezing through the narrow alleys of a local market, going back and forth here and there, when the shop owner lady called out to me to look at my bag... For a moment I thought I'd been robbed and panicked, checking my wallet first... but it turned out the bag strap had come off. The hole for the strap had torn, and that's why the strap fell off. I tried to fix it by pushing the strap in — it's supposed to go in and get fixed from the inside, but the hole tore and got bigger, so it didn't work. I came to Korea to get it fixed, but in the meantime I hurriedly bought a Starbucks rattan bag at a local market, haha. I think it was 50,000 dong or so, but I don't really remember. That day I carried this bag inside the Starbucks bag lol. But anyway~ the bag with the broken strap... I had excess baggage at Da Nang Airport, so I threw it in the trash. A cleaning lady saw the bag and umbrella I threw away, and quickly put just those items into a separate bag and grabbed them lol. There are probably occasionally other people like us who go over the baggage limit at Da Nang Airport and throw stuff away, and I think there might be cleaning staff who pick those things up and use them ~^^
