Day 138 of living apart — The "When I Go Back" series (Heading to Phu Quoc)
For me, the rainy season is over. Summer has begun. During the sunny spell on the 16th, at my home in Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture, the cicadas all started singing at once.

I feel summer even in a wall covered entirely with morning glories!! What splendid trumpet blooms. If you squeezed out that beautiful blue, it seems like it would become a vivid light blue... It makes me want to let my pure daydreams spread from the morning. Now, today's Vietnam news! *The number of positive cases (under treatment) is decreasing moment by moment! Excluding arrivals from overseas, Vietnam has had 0 new domestic infections for 95 consecutive days. 357 people, accounting for 93.2% of those infected, have recovered. It looks like the remaining number will be 26 (15 are still testing positive). I hold my head over the news of increases in Japan, but in Vietnam it's decreasing. Amid all that, *The Korean government is promoting a travel bubble (permission for small-scale travel between epidemic-prevention-safe countries) with quarantine-excellent nations such as Vietnam, Taiwan, and Thailand. With this, in Korea the two-week quarantine upon entry is said to be waived. *Domestic travel within Vietnam seems to be going full steam ahead, which makes me envious... From the 22nd, Vietnam Airlines has also opened a Dalat–Phu Quoc route. An island about an hour's flight from Ho Chi Minh City. The food is delicious too... Once I'm back, I'm absolutely going! I'll go right away!

Fish spring rolls in Phu Quoc during this year's Tet! So delicious~ the best

Where should my husband Sei and I stay next time... We can't decide on the dates, but we're already looking for a hotel (how sad~). Meanwhile, it seems the TV travel series about revisiting places is going to feature Vietnam. Starting at 6 a.m. tomorrow morning, NHK BS is going to cover Phu Quoc Island. https://www4.nhk.or.jp/2ndvisit/#schedule-onair If I end up watching Phu Quoc first thing in the morning... but maybe I'll just watch it anyway.
