🧧 Jeonju Hanok Village (Jeondong Cathedral)

It's a traditional hanok village, so there were quite a few tea houses scattered along every street. I happened to spot ssanghwa-cha, so in I went!!! I guess I should have asked for the egg to be added. I ended up taking a break with a cup of ssanghwa-cha without egg. Since it wasn't made by boiling powder, it wasn't sweet at all — it kind of felt like drinking herbal medicine, haha. The store-bought stuff tastes better, lol. The ssanghwa-cha bowl was really lovely though~

As soon as I entered Jeonju Hanok Village, the first thing that caught my eye was the beautiful Jeondong Cathedral building, so I parked in the parking lot and told myself I had to visit there first, then hurried over on foot. I don't follow any particular religion (though I do lean slightly toward Buddhism), but I like all kinds of places~ On that cloudy, overcast day, the cold wind matched so perfectly with the cathedral's interior architecture and surroundings. It felt somewhat bleak, yet also as if I were being protected by something. There wasn't much to see in particular, but I ended up sitting there for quite a while before coming out ^^

In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen — my friend prayed for quite a while. On the way, there was a memorial hall for the Donghak Revolution, so I tried to go in, but it was closed on Mondays... Memorial halls and museums are usually closed on Mondays a lot.
