There's an ocean view observatory in Jeongdongjin~

Translated from Korean

A new coastal observatory that wasn't there before has appeared in Jeongdongjin~! Even though it's cold, we obviously had to go check it out~ It's a walkable observation deck that stretches far out over the sea, so we could feel the East Sea up close~ Since it's built starting from land and extending out toward the sea, walking along it gives you the feeling of actually walking on top of the ocean.

As you walk along the seaside observation deck, you can also see the Jeongdongjin sea sundial. When the rough waves came crashing in, it felt a little scary, but as the white foam broke apart, it painted a beautiful picture on the sea. Every single moment left a deep impression on me.

โฌ‡๏ธ Sun Cruise Resort & Yacht~ It's a uniquely shaped land-based resort built on a coastal cliff, modeled after an actual cruise ship. I wonder if I'll ever get the chance to visit someday??๐Ÿ˜‚

Because the little princesses weren't feeling well, we only got to see this much this time, which was a bit disappointing. Next time, I really want to go through the whole course, all the way to Jeongdongsimgok Sea Cliff Walk. The Jeongdongsimgok Sea Cliff Walk is a coastal trail about 3.01km long, running from Jeongdongjin Port to Simgok Port. It's designated as Natural Monument No. 437 and is the only coastal terrace in Korea, where you can apparently observe the tectonic movements from 2 to 2.5 million years ago, around the time the East Sea was formed.
