The travel advisory system is an essential means of providing information to keep our citizens safe when traveling abroad. 📌 4 Levels of Travel Advisory 🔵 Level 1 | Travel Caution General caution needed for personal safety Follow basic safety rules such as being aware of pickpockets and public security conditions 🟠 Level 2 | Travel Restraint Unnecessary travel is advised against Be cautious about visiting dangerous areas or going out at night 🔴 Level 3 | Departure Advisory Cancellation or postponement of travel to the country is advised If you are already staying there, consider leaving ⚫️ Level 4 | Travel Ban Entry is prohibited in principle. Unauthorized visits are punishable under the Passport Act (imprisonment of up to 1 year or a fine of up to 10 million won). ⚠️ Special Travel Advisory Issued in the event of short-term or urgent danger Compliance with level 2–3 action guidelines is required.

🚫 Caution: Visiting Travel-Banned Countries Visiting without authorization may result in imprisonment for up to 1 year or a fine of up to 10 million KRW. Entry is only permitted for those who have obtained an exceptional passport-use permit. Engaging in activities outside the scope of the permitted purpose is prohibited, and you must leave the country within the authorized period.
